Contributor Submissions

TS Contributors Empower, Educate, and Inspire.

When contributing to TS, we ask writers to share topics that are near and dear to them. We don’t assign topics as we’ve found writing about an individual passion leaders to more inspirational and empowering articles. Articles should have a personal tie to the writer.

What topics/stories/interests would you like to share with the TS Community?

ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Artificial Intelligence…

We want to take a moment for formalize our thoughts on AI.

Over the past few years we’ve watched as Artificial Intelligence has started to creep into many aspects of our lives. In some places it adds value and in others we question the value. As we read submissions from contributors behind the scenes we’ve had many conversations about if we should publish something clearly generated with AI. After months of debate and dialogue we’ve settled on the following.

Trail Sisters values our contributors unique and personal voices. We will seek to publish authentic, educational, inspirational and empowering content.

We will not publish generated content.

What is generated content? AI written text includes;

  • repetitive or generic language
  • lack of a natural voice (personality)
  • overuse of the em-dash
  • consistent sentence lengths
  • surface level depth
  • repeated use of the rule of three (this and this and that…)
  • no nuance to the text.

Let’s face it, we’ve all read something and had the hunch it was generated and not inspired.

Can you use AI?
Yes, look… this isn’t college or university. AI is a great resource and at a fundamental level it’s a better Google search. (At least in our current opinion) You may use AI for specific research that becomes part of an article that YOU write.

Your voices matter and we want to share them (and their imperfections, and ramblings and non-sequiturs)!

Lets not become robots!
Submissions will be sent to Gina (TS Founder) and Kristi (Submissions Manager / Article Reviewer).
