Oregon’s best supported 100-miler, Mountain Lakes 100 takes place mainly on the Pacific Crest Trail between Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. This race has become well-known and loved for the
on-course support. Forget the fact that you’re running on some pretty single-track trail, past gorgeous mountain lakes… you’ll be amazed how the aid stations lift you up, get you what you need, and make sure you’re ready to move onto the next and the finish line to earn that buckle!
This race is a runnable hundred. That means it doesn’t have really big climbs like some others. There’s 11,000′ of gain over the whole 100-miles. It has a 30-hour cutoff to get the buckle.
People return again and again to this race, to run it another time and/or to volunteer once more. There’s a welcoming community vibe here that can’t be beat.
There’s also a pasta feed the night before and breakfast at the end.
Come make this your first hundred!
