Hi! I’m Liz Raynor, I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a strength and running coach. In 1996 I wrote in my journal, in elementary school, “my favorite thing to do is run,” and I’ve been doing it ever since. I loved it so much that I went on to get a degree in exercise and sports science and a master’s in nutrition. I now own my own practice (yay!) with my husband, Michael, who is also a registered dietitian. Personally, I’ve always been running, swimming, hiking, lifting, and walking – from track to 100 milers I’ve done it and I’m currently training for ultramarathons ranging from 50ks to 100+ miles.
That's the thing about running, your greatest runs are rarely measured by racing success. They are moments in time when running allows you to see how wonderful your life is."

I’m a Registered Dietitian licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alaska! I’m also able to work with folks in Virginia. Additionally, I’m a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and UESCA running coach. As a dietitian I specialize in working with active women who struggle with signs and symptoms of under fueling like low energy, poor performance, bone stress injuries, loss of menstrual cycles, and/or GI symptoms. I also work with folks with gastrointestinal disorders and food allergies. In addition to providing all the knowledge my athletes need to fuel themselves I also make sure the strategies we discussed are feasible in YOUR life, I want you to make as few changes as possible to feel great and get where you’re trying to go – literally! I am in network with most BCBS/Anthem and Aetna health insurance plans many of which cover nutrition counseling at 100%!
