About Me

I’m a rehab coach and yoga instructor originally from North Texas, but finally made my way home to Colorado! I began teaching yoga in 2005, and pursued a bachelors degree in exercise science followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011.

I specialized in orthopedic physical therapy, and have trained and practiced also in pelvic health. In addition to practicing as. PT, I have continued to teach yoga classes as well as workshops and trainings on anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science. Since leaving clinical practice, I’ve offered rehab coaching services both virtually and in-person.

More is more unless more is less, in which case less is more.

About My Business

Personalized rehab coaching offers support and compassion combined with strategic, evidence-based guidance toward your wants and goals informed by my years of experience working as a physical therapist, yoga therapist, and as a person who has recovered from multiple surgeries to return to sports and to the mountains!

Rehab coaching is perfect for those who have pain, injury, or activity limitation and have fear or uncertainty around how to get back to action. It’s also great for people who have completed PT or other therapies but are still not back to full participation in sports or other desired activities. Additionally, I’m skilled at helping people adapt and progress movement pre and post-op.

I believe working with someone in a clinic provides a ton of value, but my experience has been that a LOT of people don’t really need or want to make the time for the clinical process. In rehab coaching, I ask a lot of questions and really listen to the answers because I see improvement when we explore new approaches and mindsets with activities you already do and love. It also helps to understand how pain and tissue healing work, so I throw in some education and encouragement so that you can set yourself up for success.

In addition to rehab coaching, I teach private and group yoga, mobility classes and workshops, and anatomy and biomechanics trainings.
