Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
Join us for a 5k or 10k trail run at Interlaken Icicle Dash! The fifty-one acres of dense forest that separate the urban neighborhoods of Montlake and Capitol Hill comprise Interlaken Park, named for a summer resort in Switzerland.
The course starts with an out-and-back tour of the fairly flat, paved Interlaken Boulevard, where it is closed to car traffic through this forest park. The course then turns up a short staircase and onto dirt trails, including a climb to the top of the park and back down to Interlaken Boulevard for the short return to the start/finish. Each loop is 2.5 km. The 5k is two loops, and the 10k is four loops.
