About Me

I’m Heather Binns, a Health & Fitness Strategist, endurance/OCR coach, nutrition & lifestyle Coach, and the owner of Renov8 Fitness. I’ve been coaching since 2006 and have worked with a wide range of athletes, from beginners training for their first 5K to seasoned runners and obstacle course racers preparing for demanding events. Much of my career has focused on helping people return to strong after setbacks, rebuild confidence in their bodies, and train in a way that supports longevity, not just short-term results.

I’ve coached runners, hybrid athletes, and everyday movers through fat loss, strength building, race prep, and post-injury comebacks. I’m also someone who has navigated my own injury and recovery journey, which deeply shapes how I coach. My approach blends performance training, recovery, and nutrition and lifestyle support so athletes can feel strong, capable, and resilient both on and off the trail.

About My Business

My coaching is built around helping athletes move better, perform better, and feel better by reconnecting with their inner athlete. I combine strength training, run programming, mobility, recovery work, and practical nutrition guidance so runners are not just logging miles, but building a body that can handle the demands of the sport. Injury prevention, smart progressions, proper form, and fueling well for training are core parts of my programs.

I use a whole-person approach that includes fitness, nutrition, lifestyle habits, and recovery strategies. Athletes can expect structured, progressive programming, clear communication, accountability, and a supportive but honest coaching style. I meet people where they are, whether they are returning after time off, managing aches and pains, dialing in their fueling, or pushing toward a new performance goal.

My work is rooted in sustainable training and realistic nutrition practices, not extremes, so athletes can stay in the sport for the long run.
