I’m an experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. I have a passion for living life to the fullest and helping others to do the same through patient-centered care, evidence-informed practice, program development, teaching, and continued learning. As an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast, I particularly enjoy working with endurance and mountain athletes whether runners, cyclists, triathletes, ultramarathoners, mountaineers, snow-sporting or more. I strive to lead a healthy, active, well-balanced lifestyle and I am always grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with and assist others in their own health and wellness journeys.

I attended University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience, Certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine, and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. I have completed extensive advanced training related to clinical practice, education, and leadership including achievement of APTA Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and various additional certifications for orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sports performance. While I have worked as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in a variety of settings since 2010, the majority of my experience is across outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine settings and with athletes of all ages and abilities from young to masters athletes, recreational to competitive high school and collegiate athletes, and beyond to elite and professional athletes. I have been a part of UCHealth since 2015, connecting and collaborating with patients, healthcare teams, and the community to work together to improve lives. I enjoy helping patients to achieve their goals through provision of individualized care and through involvement in initiatives to support that care, such as employing and promoting evidenced-based care, developing and implementing orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine programs, educating via continuing education and staff mentorship, as well as teaching as a clinical instructor within UCHealth and as faculty within entry-level therapist programs. I also participate in advocacy, engagement, and research projects with the American Physical Therapy Association at the national, Colorado State, and Orthopedic Section levels. Beyond my career, I love spending time with family and friends, and I am also a mom, runner, outdoors enthusiast, avid reader, volunteer, therapy dog handler, and supporter of my local running and endurance athlete communities.
