I am originally from Brighton, Michigan. I received my BS in Pre-Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH) and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University (Elon, NC). My husband and I moved out to California in 2014, living in Mountain View for a couple of years and finally ending up in beautiful Sonoma County. I have been an athlete all of my life, and I continue to love challenging my body and mind to new levels and potentials. I am an avid road and trail runner, as well as enjoy cycling, hiking, skiing and camping. Cooking, gardening, and traveling are also some favorites.
Running is a road to self awareness and self reliance. You can push yourself to extremes and learn the harsh reality of your physical and mental limitations or coast quietly down a solitary path watching the Earth spin at your feet. But, when you are through, exhilarated and exhausted, at least for the moment everything seems right in the world.

I have been a licensed physical therapist for 11 years, a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and the owner of an athlete-focused outpatient physical therapy clinic in Healdsburg, CA. With certifications in a variety of treatment techniques, such as myofascial decompression and blood flow restriction, I incorporate various approaches based on what an athlete’s needs and goals may be. I have had the incredible opportunity to work with elite gymnasts for USA Gymnastics during the US Championships in 2023, and additionally with olympic level athletes as part of the volunteer medical team at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO in 2024. I have sponsored and volunteered at many trail and road running races throughout the past several years. I love working with runners, performing video running gait analysis, assessing mobility, and gathering objective strength measurements with the use of force plates and dynamometry. Data gathered during testing can help bring clarity to complex problems and even highlight areas to focus on when starting a training plan. I truly appreciate being a part of someone’s journey in sport, whether it be returning from injury, beginning something new and/or helping them achieve BIG performance goals.
