About Me

A lifelong competitive runner, I ran for the University of Richmond Track and XC teams and then post collegiately transitioned to running road marathons. In 2011, I set my marathon PR of 2:49 and then quickly transitioned to trail running after a move to the mountains of Colorado where I reside today. I have experience working for large race production companies including Ironman North America, was a collegiate Cross Country at Track Coach at UNC Charlotte, and then transitioned to becoming a sports dietitian in 2018, when I started my business, Flynutrition. I have worked with thousands of runners, triathletes, skiers, and climbers since then and have written many articles for Trail Runner and Outside Magazine. In July 2024, I started a podcast with friend and journalist Zoe Rom called Your Diet Sucks, which aims to dispel diet culture myths that are pervasive in the endurance and fitness space. In March 2025, I published my first book, Practical Fueling for Endurance Athletes, which teaches endurance athletes of all ages and abilities how to fuel their sport in a practical manner. I currently live near Aspen, CO with my ultra running husband, Sean and our three Australian Shepherds.

"If you fuel it, you can do it."

About My Business

Sports dietitian and USATF certified running coach, I like to take a whole athlete approach to coaching, focusing on the what, why and how we are going to work together as a team to make things happen. I have many different options in the endurance sports nutrition realm, everything from a more hands off membership to 1:1 nutrition coaching, where we would meet every other week on calls or video chats for three months to build a new fueling lifestyle that works to support everyday life and training. A running coach with Microcosm coaching, I coach road, trail, and ultra athletes with 1:1 personalized coaching in a virtual setting to help them reach their goals.
