About Me

Veteran Sports Dietitian x 12 years. Lifelong athlete. Competitive trail and ultra runner. I also dabble in road races (BQ in marathon). Multiple top 10 female and top 3 age group finishes at distances ranging from 5K-50 miler. I work with recreational, high school, collegiate and professional athletes. I develop nutrition and hydration strategies to maintain health and optimize recovery and performance in training and competition. I have taken a few year hiatus from competing due to pursuing IVF and re-building after the CA wildfires. I am also an avid hiker, yoga and meditation enthusiast. I also enjoy cross training on the peloton bike.

I have an injury history related to my soccer playing days that resulted in 3 knee surgeries. The most recent being in 2019. I have a personal understanding of the mental and physical challenges of returning to sport after surgery, rehab and learning new ways of managing chronic injuries. I have always managed to return stronger, faster and wiser. Now as a Master’s athlete, I’m entering into a new realm with newfound challenges for my own pursuits.

About My Business

I am a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (Sports RD). I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science and Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Nutrition. I also have additional training and background in disordered eating/eating disorder support and recovery.

Services include comprehensive nutrition assessment, review of medical history, training demands, nutrition plan and eating habits, supplement review, special dietary needs, and discussion of purpose and goals of nutrition consultation. I provide practical and evidenced based nutrition and/or hydration interventions and recommendations to support your health and performance goals. There is no cookie cutter approach. Everything is highly individualized. I always aim to exceed expectations. I love to see my athletes thrive and achieve their goals.

In terms of philosophy around food and nutrition, I am a “foodie” and preach balance, variety and moderation. There is a time and place to adopt a focused, food as fuel approach and also strike that healthy balance with enjoying food for fun, pleasure and living life to it’s fullest. I work with each athlete individually and support them on their athletic journey.
