About Me

Hi, I’m Tori! I was born and raised in Northern California where my love for movement started early. I played all kinds of sports growing up, but fell in love with softball from a young age and had a short stint playing in college. These days, I enjoy hiking, running, lifting weights, and soaking in any opportunity to be outside in nature. I’m married with two dog children, Kingston and Mae. I’ve experienced my own fair share of aches, pains, and injuries throughout the years which has enhanced my ability to connect with my patients as a physical therapist, and I love cheering on other women while they do badass things! When I’m not working, you might find me dancing at a music festival, exploring national parks, playing golf, pickle ball, or some other recreational sport.

There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.

About My Business

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries, and chronic pain. I earned my BS in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico in 2016, and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2018.

By the end of 2019, after just one year into practice, I was already on the brink of burn out. The COVID pandemic forced me to re-evaluate my career and life, revealing my frustration with a healthcare system driven by profit rather than patient well-being. I also saw some of the limitations of insurance-based physical therapy and the lacking quality of care for athletic individuals in many PT facilities.

Determined to make a difference, I founded Fortitude Physical Therapy and Wellness to offer an online, evidence-based, and fitness-oriented approach to rehabilitation that focuses on treating the whole person—not just their injured or painful body part(s). I’m committed to providing personalized care and empowering active individuals with the tools they need to confidently navigate persistent pain, get stronger, and stay active for life. I value autonomy and really enjoy collaborating with clients to determine the best, most sustainable plan that suits their lifestyle and adapts to the phase of life they’re in.

I offer online rehab and fitness consultations via video call, personalized exercise programs tailored to you and your goals, and ongoing support through app-based platforms to help guide you along the way. Services are billed monthly and include 4 weeks of exercise programming, weekly online check-ins, and monthly video calls. Please see my booking page via my website for current pricing.

*Note: Due to licensing laws, I can only offer physical therapy evaluation and treatment to California residents. If you are outside of California, we can still work together to curate a personalized strength and conditioning plan that accommodates your injury history or health history, but we would not be able to directly treat your issue. This option works great for folks who have already been through physical therapy and/or have a well-known and well-managed issue that just needs to be considered and worked with/around during their training.

If you’re interested in working together, you can sign up for a free discovery call on my website. There’s no pressure or judgement, and no commitment required on this call. It just gives us a chance to meet, discuss your needs and goals, and find out if we’re a good fit!

Any questions? Feel free to shoot me an email, I’d love to connect with you!
