Angry Tortoise 25k / 50k

 Do you want to be an Ultra State Champion?  You now have the opportunity!  Come run the Angry Tortoise 50k on February 15, 2025, in beautiful Cary State Forest in Bryceville, FL.  The Angry Tortoise 50k was just selected as the Road Runners of America (RRCA) 2025 RRCA Florida Ultra Championship.  In addition to our awards for Top 3 Overall Male & Female, Masters (40-49) Male & Female, Grand Masters (50-69) Male & Female and Senior Grand Masters (70+) Male & Female, we also will be giving RRCA State Championship Medals for the Florida residents who are the First Overall Male & Female, 40+ Male & Female, 50+ Male & Female and 60+ Male & Female. 
 
Don’t feel like you can run 50k?  No problem!  We also offer a 25k!

We also like to feed our runners lunch after the race! Cut-off times: There is a generous eight-hour cut-off for both the 25k and 50k, which means you can really spend time in the great outdoors and enjoy the scenery if you choose to do so. Cary State Forest also has a free hot shower in the male and female restroom that’s located near the start/finish area so you can shower after your race!  Proceeds from the race support the Florida Striders Kids’ Running Programs!
