Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
Broken Goat is located in the beautiful Kootenay Rockies Region of British Columbia and is one of BC’s most challenging high alpine races.
The 25km & 52km point to point races start at an elevation of 1574m and runners summit various peaks & ridges along the way. The highest peak being Old Glory Mountain at 2376m. The entire 12km course takes place on Red Mountain which peaks at 2072m at the summit.
The Broken Goat is so much more than just a race. It’s a weekend set around majestic mountains, filled with hight alpine trail running, craft beer, amazing food and cherished company.
