Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
Founded in 2011 by the Crooked Road running Club of Franklin County Virginia, the Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra event had a successful run of 12 years, attracting runners from all over the country. After the 2022 race, with club membership declining the club dissolved and the race went into hibernation.
Fast forward to 2024, and Blue Ridge Racing earned the blessing of former Race Director Ricky Scott to bring back the Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra on March 8, 2025 in its same great location – Franklin County’s Waid Park in Rocky Mount, Virginia.
Blue Ridge Racing is well poised to revive the Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra to its former glory and beyond. Owner Molly Bullington has over 18 years of race management experience spanning from 5Ks to multi-day adventure races, with the Blue Ridge Marathon as the most widely recognized race that she directs. With plans to incorporate relay teams and prizes for shorter time periods, the Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra is set to be better than ever this year!
