2 DAYS IN 2024!
We had such a fun time last year that we are continuing the tradition of TWO DAYS of Echo Valley in 2024. There will be a 1-mile kid’s race, 10K, half-marathon, and 50K. Echo Valley remains an excellent race choice for many. The 1-mile kid’s race, camping, and location make it ideal for families, while the 50k is a great course for a first-time 50K runner or someone wanting to set a 50K PR time.

Based in the pristine wine country of Lake Chelan, Echo Valley offers stunning views, runnable single tracks, heaps of sunshine, and a retreat from everyday life!

To top off this weekend away in the mountains, you can camp pre- and post-race. Take this time to reboot, decompress from technology and reflect on the amazing training you have done. Come and share an amazing weekend with us; we promise you will head back to work Monday full of heart and strength of mind! See below for details on accommodations.

This race is also sponsored by Vin du Lac of Chelan, one of the top Wineries in the region, named “Winery of the Year” in 2010.

Race Notes
I can’t imagine a better trail system on which to host an event! Smooth and winding with gentle climbs/descents with outstanding views! Did I mention all distances are a single loop? I don’t know about you, but I love not repeating any trails on a long run!

From the base of Echo Valley ski area all distances will start down the main road and then shortly take a left onto the climbing single track. While the grade is gentle the climb is long and sustained. After the initial long climb, you are rewarded with those amazing views of the Chelan Valley and some gentle rolling single track. The 10k then begins its descent back down to the Echo Valley ski area on the Bergman Gulch Trail. Meanwhile, the Half and 50k runners continue to trails that wind through the beautiful ponderosa pine forest for miles and miles. The Half course is an abbreviated portion of the 50K course. This course is so much fun that you might not be ready to be done as both the Half and the 50K make the final descent down Waterbar Heaven. and you’re in luck because there is one last small climb up a decommissioned forest road before finally arriving back at the Finish line.

We mark the course as best as possible and there will be a course marshal out at a strategic location to help keep you on track. However, there are a few complex intersections on this, so please pay attention to course markers and signage.

The trails will be open to other users during the event, including pedestrians and cyclists. See our FAQ page for more information about sharing the trails
