Grand Canyon Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K

Run or walk a beautiful Trail Marathon, Trail Half-Marathon, or Trail 5k in the sun-dappled trails and forest roads of the Kaibab National Forest, on the Coconino Plateau just south of the breathtaking Grand Canyon South Rim.  The race start/finish and festivities all take place in the heart of Tusayan, Arizona, just a few miles from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Don’t miss this chance to snag the celebrated race souvenirs, then visit the glorious Grand Canyon.

This courses include a challenging but beautiful forested loop adjacent to the Grand Canyon National Park, with tree-lined cliffs, a cross-cross under historic railroad tracks, and possible wildlife sightings.  Terrain includes dirt, sand, rock, gravel, and a paved stretch. 

Supported by the local community, the event takes place in partnership with the Town of Tusayan, the Tusayan Fire Department, the IMAX Visitor Center, the Kaibab National Forest, The Grand Canyon Chamber and Visitor Center, and more.  

You also have the opportunity to support two non-profits and the vital services: the Tusayan Fire Department and the Grand Canyon Food Pantry.

All festivities take place in and around the IMAX Theater, with the address of 450 AZ-64, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023.
