Welcome to Hutto, TX, where the legend of the community mascot, the hippo, lives strong! We have partnered with the coolest people ever, and are extremely proud to support their mission and efforts. The founders of the Hippo Social Club and Patriot Sports & Fitness are welcoming us into their fitness and well-being facility, which happens to sit on the edge of a beautiful, wooded, rolling trail system in their backyard; and allowing the opportunity to bring to you the Hippo Trail Fest! Additionally, by registering for this race, you are getting to help us support the ongoing work of Keep Hutto Beautiful!
On top of the trail running, rucking, and world famous (at least to us) Hippo Haul, we’re also adding in some extra big time fun to Friday evening and all day Saturday.
On Saturday throughout the day, there will be curated art and wellness experiences, including things like live artists, games, interactive art, and the Recharge Zone (with free cold plunge, sauna, mobility and stretching resources, rollers, red light therapy, compression, and more).
Along with all that, there will be cool local vendors and sponsors, fun for families, games for kids (and kids at heart), live music, food trucks, complimentary drinks, and a relaxed experience that will have your whole crew having a blast, while meeting other awesome adventurers! Additional experiences are getting added all the time. You don’t want to miss this trail party!
