Located in the southside of San Antonio, Tx choose your distance to challenge yourself! With a 10.7 mile loop, aid stations every 3 miles, and a generous cutoff, this is a great race for your first ultra, running an ultra without a crew, or to dip your toes into trail running. The course is on soft natural trail system that winds its way through woodlands, open pastures, and the Medina River bottomland.

100 mile – 7:00am Male, Female, Non Binary start | 10 loops, 32 hour cutoff

100 kilometer – 7:30am Male, Female, Non Binary start | 6 loops

50 kilometer – 8:00am Male, Female, Non Binary start | 3 loops

10 mile – 4:00PM Male, Female, Non Binary start | 1 loop

5 kilometer – 4:30PM Male, Female, Non Binary start | 1 lollipop loop

 

Pacers are allowed to join runners after 5:00PM on Nov 4th. Course closes 3:00pm on Sunday Nov 5th. Check website for Strava link and more information. www.racechingona.com

Aid Stations

We are committed to zero trace and being as green as we can. This is a cupless race. There will be NO cups at the aid stations for water.

There are three aid stations with no more than 4 miles between them.

 

Drop bags will be at the start/finish line.

 

Crew is allowed at any aid station. You will need to walk or bike.

 

Swag & Awards

We are dedicated to being as green as we can. You may opt for a shirt or decline receiving an event tee and instead donate the money allotted in your event fee to go to Gardopia Gardens to adopt a tree!

 

Awards for overall top 3 male, female, non binary in each race.

Finishers for 100k and 100 mile will receive a finisher’s buckle.

Finishers for 50k, 10 mile, and 5k will receive finisher swag.

Camping –

8 campsites with electric and water hookups for tent or RV boondock camping.

Camping is not allowed Friday night
