Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
The Piedmont 8 Hour Race is a great event for new trail runners. The loop format makes it easy to get aid. The 2.7 mile loop is flat, non-technical and runnable. Because it’s the 3rd week of October Mother Nature normally puts on a show as you run along the historic James River, through open fields and woods. If you don’t want to run solo grab some friends and sign up for the relay!
