Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
Set in the beautiful North Saskatchewan River Valley this race has distances and terrain to satisfy all trail runners from the elites to those new to this wonderful sport. Most of it on single track all distances must cross the River to a mile long island and back. Live music and a large bonfire makes for a great atmosphere while watching runners cross the finish line.
Completely run by dedicated volunteers most of the proceeds from this race go to Olive Tree Projects a maternity centre in Haiti dedicated to helping women and children in the town of Jacmel. www.olivetreeprojects.com
