Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
The South Ridge Trail Challenge is the region’s premier fall trail race. Taking place on the South Ridge of North Park in Allegheny County, it offers a spectacular array of trails for runners and hikers of all abilities. This race will offer distances of 5k, 10k and 20k over loose dirt/gravel roads as well as beautiful rocky and root-covered single-track trail.
The course will begin and end near the historic North Park swimming pool, which at one time was the largest public pool in the United States. Runners and walkers will then make their way up, down and around the South Ridge Plateau exploring all the beauty of the fall foliage.

10K and 20K – 9:00 am
5K – 9:15 am
