Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
The Forge Trail Run Festival will embrace the adventure and challenge of late-fall, mid-west trail running with 10K, 20K (Half Marathon) and 30K events. Put on your trail running shoes and explore our wooded single track trails throughout The Forge: Lemont Quarries and adjoining trails at the Forge Trail Run Festival on Sunday, November 5, 2023. We are putting an extra emphasis on “trail” with these races. The course will maximize the distance run on our single-track trails that wind through The Forge: Lemont Quarries, woods, around the historic Lemont Quarries, and I&M Canal with great trails. This trail has awesome natural scenery and history!
