Stefanie Flippin is a professional ultrarunner for HOKA, a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, private practice owner, high performance running coach with Lift Run Perform, and writer for Relay, a collaborative running media and content group on Patreon. She is the 2021 USATF 100 Mile National Champion, as well as the 2020 and 2021 Tunnel Hill 100 female champion. She is the 5th fastest All-Time American with a 100 mile PR of 14:04. Stefanie is a plant-based athlete and highly values lowering her carbon footprint. She is active in public healthcare and policy development. She enjoys being involved in her local running community and is a strong believer in the sport’s ability to be a grassroots way to empower humans, building their confidence in all aspects of life. As an Asian American, Stefanie cares deeply about representation for other BIPOC athletes, especially for aspiring young athletes, and accessibility to the sport of trail and ultrarunning for all. The opportunity and responsibility to represent BIPOC athletes on each start line is never lost on her. Stefanie lives and trains at 8,700 feet with her husband Mitchell and two dogs, Shava and Pace.
