Over recent years, there have been noticeable shifts and changes within the race event industry. Focuses on longer distances, more vertical gain, corporate ownership, extensive race series, participant approach, DEI initiatives, conservation, event standards, and of course, cost.

Special guests and Race Directors, Libby Jones (The Active Joe), Megan DeHaan (Crazy Mountain 100), and Michele Hartwig (Ornery Mule Racing), share their perspective on these shifts, what they have experienced at their own events, and their outlook on the evolving future of racing.
