This race has it all and is right in Austin’s backyard. The venue is a huge city park with massive playgrounds, sports fields, tons of parking, huge shade trees, and fun trails! The trails sit on a bluff above Onion Creek, surrounded by woods and wildlife. You’ll forget you’re in the big city and just down the road from the Austin-Bergstrom Int’l Airport. The course features single track, a little double track, some technical fun, challenging short drops and climbs through creek beds, and the Tejas Trails spirit!
This race is a partnership with our good friends at the Great Springs Project. GSP is a nonprofit organization working to create a greenway of conserved land in Central Texas and build a contiguous hike-and-bike trail from the Alamo to the Texas Capitol by the Texas Bicentennial in 2036. Great Springs Project works to conserve an additional 50,000 acres of land to protect Central Texas’ water resources and the land that watersheds them, while providing greater access to the outdoors and recreational activities.
