Alicia Christofi-Walshe is a mother of three living in County Wicklow, Ireland. Originally from Boston, she worked as a professional dance artist and choreographer in the States and Europe for over a decade. Her work has been published in print and online with Ultrarunning Magazine and featured online with Focused Performance and Trail Running Ireland. British magazine ULTRA published her article, ‘Choosing to Race,’ in their November 2017 print issue. She is also a writer with Outdoor Women’s Alliance Editorial Mentorship Programme. Alicia’s been running the roads since 2009 and took to the hills in 2016. She was 2nd female at her first ultra, The Glen of Aherlow Loop de Loop 63k (2016) and 1st female at Ticknock Tick-Tock (2017), 75k trail and orienteering ultra.
