Growing up as a gymnast, I came to running later in life. Although I have been active with running for many years, I started racing over the last few decades. I enjoyed an early career as a clinical medical physicist who transitioned to a lengthy career as an airline pilot. I am currently a full time airline pilot for a major US airline. My current running focus includes multi-day stage races as well as some 100-200 mile distance races. As an older athlete in my 60s, I understand the challenges that older athletes face firsthand. Having a career with a chaotic schedule, I understand firsthand the challenges of having a non-routine work schedule. I am a UESCA certified running and ultra running coach as well as UESCA certified endurance sports nutrition coach. I live in the Seattle area with my husband and two Cocker Spaniel “kids”. My primary focus is multi-day ultras, primarily stage race ultramarathons. I maintain a small roster of athletes so I can provide highly individualized and customized comprehensive training plans that include strength and mobility.
What you get by achieving your goals is bot as important as what you become.
~ Me
I am UESCA certified as a running coach, ultra running coach and endurance sports nutrition coach. I provide holistic training the includes focus on race day preparation, mental preparation for the demands of racing, strength and mobility as well as the standard run training. The roster of athletes I maintain is small so that I can provide a highly customized approach to training. I use TrainingPeaks as the primary platform for training plans. I regularly communicate with my athletes via text, emails and regular video calls
