Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
Are you ready to run 13.1 miles along the shores of beautiful Forest Lake? Kirksville, Missouri’s FLATS Trail Half Marathon takes racers over hills, rocks, roots, stretches of fast singletrack, and even some water crossings. Along with miles of lovingly maintained trails, the point-to-point course offers runners seven well-stocked aid stations, gorgeous views, enthusiastic volunteers to cheer you on, a well-marked course, age-group awards, prize money for the top three female, male, and nonbinary finishers, the softest t-shirt in the whole universe (women’s and unisex cuts), custom finishers medals, and a festive post-race celebration.
