Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
The UpRiver Running Fall Races hold a special place in our heart. This community event celebrates our love for the sport and unites participants from all walks of life with varying goals and experiences. The 10Km, 25Km, and 50Km distances offer something for everyone. Most of the course takes place on single track through some of our favourite trails in Thunder Bay. The 10Km runners complete a loop, while the 25Km runners complete a 12.5Km out to Cascades Conservation Area and back. For 2024, we have added a 2.5Km Kids Trail Run. We’ll also be updating our 50Km course. Details will be announced ASAP. The course will include elements of the previous course, in addition to newer sections.
All races will begin at the cabins in Centennial Park on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. Participants will receive a finisher medal and the top 3 from each category of each distance will receive an award.
