Lisa Chapello

Lisa Chapello grew up a competitive equestrian, but took up road running in college when the horses were less accessible. She discovered trail running when she moved to San Francisco. Her initial attraction to the sport – rooted in a tighter sense of community and better snacks vs. road marathons – has brought her deep friendships, her now-husband, and joy in the ritual of being outside as she explores the trails near her home in Colorado.
