The Mountains Were Calling – And So She Went

Darcy Piceu at Happy Isles trailhead, the finish of her JMT FKT.

Celebrating one and another when we achieve our goals or amazing accomplishments is something we need to do more of. If we want MORE for women in the outdoor arena (in every way), we have to show how much of a force of nature we are, and keep boosting each other up!

Thus, Trail Sisters wanted to share this recent article by Lisa Jhung at Motiv Running about Darcy Piceu. Darcy recently set the women’s fastest known time (FKT) on the John Muir Trail (JMT). The JMT is 222 miles long from portal to portal, and 211 miles long from the summit of Mt.Whitney.

Support our trail sister Darcy and give this a read/share!   Darcy Piceu sets new JMT FKT

Congrats Darcy!
