Last night at 12:00am we closed the Trail Run Adventure submission site presented by Trail Sisters, Under Armour and CamelBak. We received a whooping 271 applications! Since this was our first time offering an adventure grant, we had no idea what to expect, or how many women would participate.

We are extremely excited for the amount of interest, but are even more impressed and inspired by the number of women pursuing adventure. Women are breaking down barriers of fear, exploring the outdoors, and are confident in their abilities.

The next steps include lots reading and analyzing by a panel of Trail Sisters, Under Armour and CamelBak representatives. All names (and emails) will be removed from submissions so that everything remains anonymous. Final selections will be made by April 28th, and then will be revealed one per day on TrailSisters.net (and TS social outlets).

Trail Sisters, Under Armour, and CamelBak want to thank everyone who has applied, and also say thanks to all those who have helped promote the grant opportunity. Regardless of the outcome, we encourage everyone to continue creating trail run adventures, and to always pursue their passions.

  1. Thanks for the opportunity to put my adventure plans to (proverbial) paper and find some power in my stride. Looking forward to hearing the stories of others.
