Our Mission is to increase women’s participation and opportunity in trail running and hiking through inspiration, education and empowerment.
The Bow Valley Ultra is more than just a race—it’s a 100 mile celebration of our local trail network and a commitment to its long-term sustainability.
Working closely with Alberta Parks, Town of Canmore, Friends of Kananaskis Country, and Bragg Creek Trails Association, we’re focused on giving back to the stewards who care for these trails. Through sustainable practices and collaboration, the Bow Valley Ultra aims to protect the stunning backyard we’re privileged to run on while fostering a deeper connection between the trail running community and the environment.
