About Me

I come to coaching by way of a winding career in molecular biology and computer science. I’ve been a competitive athlete most of my adult-life and define myself as aggressively mediocre at a lot of things; I raced bikes at the elite/pro level, have run ultras for 15 years (50k-240mi) and even dabbled in trigeekery/Ironman. I’m a former alpine climbing instructor with the Seattle Mountaineers and have climbed in the Himalayas, Andes and Wadi Rum, Jordan. I raced City League for a number of years and I enjoy ski touring, Nordic skiing and bribing my two little girls with snacks on the bunny slopes of Mt. Baker (the ultimate endurance sport). I really enjoy working with “busy people”, new parents, and people looking to establish new routines and relationships with movement and the outdoors. My super power is helping people feel at home in their bodies and achieving lofty goals. My bio says is here: https://www.cascadeendurance.com/about

Every wall has another side. (And usually another wall after that).

My Coaching Style / Methodology

I specialize in trail/ultra running and mountain sports (skiing and climbing). I also have a background in triathlon and bike racing at the elite/pro level. I’m currently a grad student in clinical mental health counseling and I bring that resource and my work as a trauma-informed yoga and movement practitioner into my coaching relationship with clients.
