Lauren Jones grew up in Littleton, CO and has been running, biking and hiking the front range trails for over 20 years! She has her degree in exercise science and sports performance and has been working as a trainer and coach for 15 years. Lauren is the mother of 2 active little boys and is the founder of Life’s 2 Short Fitness. She is passionate about introducing women to new sports and empowering them to overcome obstacles, build confidence and explore the outdoor world.
My Coaching Style / Methodology
My business includes trail running programs for women of all levels from couch to trails to training for a trail ultra marathon! We now have a team of 5 amazing local women coaching for us this year, all with years of experience on the trails and passionate about helping women to fall in love with our favorite sport!Our coached group runs include work on specific skills (like how to conquer steep hills and technical terrain), strength and conditioning, exploring new trails each week, supported long runs and no one is ever left behind! We have a trailblazer team of women who have graduated our programs who volunteer at runs to provide encouragement and to make sure our back of the pack runners are supported. We are all about community, education and building strong, amazing friendships!
