About Me

My love for running started at an early age. I love to run around the dirt track behind my elementary school. Later I joined the high school cross country team and worked hard to become one of Colorado’s top distance runners. I was recruited to run on scholarship to the University of Utah where I obtained a USATF coaching certification and began coaching. I later transferred to Utah State University (Go Aggies!) to complete my degree in Health Education with minors in Nutrition and Chemistry. I was an All-Conference runner specializing in the 5000 meters there. I continued to coach after college and after having kids I started competing in triathlons and coaching triathletes. I had quick success and fell in love with triathlon training competing as an All-World Athlete in several Ironman 70.3 World Championship events. I love to share what I have learned over the years with other athletes!

My Coaching Style / Methodology

I am a true believer in custom coaching. Everyone achieves their goals differently. I think it is important to adapt training to fit into a person’s life considering their backgrounds, past injuries, current schedule and needs. I have a can-do and eclectic approach to the developing custom training programs and take a personal interested in each athlete. I work online as well as in person. I also offer Life Coaching sessions/programs.
