About Me

After running several half and full marathons, I ran my first ultra marathon in 2013, the Umstead 50 mile. I immediately fell in love with the sport and the trails. After running and racing in NC, South Florida, and Virginia I’ve experienced different roads, trails, and terrain. Ultrarunning has taught me that anything is possible and you are capable of more than you think you are. I have run several ultras and trail races including Umstead 50 mile, Mountains to Sea 50k, 8 Hours of Hell (3rd F), Riverbend 12 Hour (1st F 2017, 2nd OA & 2nd F 2018), River to Sea 12 Hour, Dunes 100 (2nd OA & 2nd F), and Grindstone 100.

I have a passion for helping women reach their running goals – whether that’s running their first 5k, or their first 100 miler, or even coming back from injury.

There is something magical about running; after a certain distance it transcends the body. Then a bit further and it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul.”

My Coaching Style / Methodology

I believe that to be able to run strong and run for many years to come, you’ve got to strengthen the muscles that allow you to do what you love. I believe that a well rounded ultra training program, incorporating functional strength, cross training, and mobility, will make you the runner you always dreamed. Your body needs to be strong enough to carry you where you want it to go. My monthly one on one coaching is customized to each athlete’s goals and accessibility to equipment. Your program includes your mileage, strength workouts, cross training, mobility, mental prep, race planning, dialing in your nutrition for training and racing, and more.
