Montana Meltdown (Sept 27-28) is hosted by experienced racers Jeff Garmire and Allison Powell. This fixed time event has 24 hour, 12 hour, and 4 hour divisions.
Montana Meltdown is held on a 1.5 mile loop in the heart of Bozeman, Montana. The loop is 82% gravel path and18% asphalt through Gallatin Valley Regional Park, which boasts gorgeous views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Weather in Bozeman in mid October has a typical high of 60 and low of 40, making it premiere running weather for PRs.
Come run as far as you can with no fear of a DNF, all runners will receive unique racer swag. The top three finishers in each category and gender will receive an additional award.
The race offers 1 aid station at the start/finish of each loop and a space for 24 hour runners to camp during the event.
