Moving up to this distance can be intimidating but it’s not impossible! Currently, women comprise of about 25% of all 100 mile finishers.

We’ve put together a panel of experts who will share their thoughts, tips and expertise on transitioning to the 100 mile distance.

Join us to learn how you can overcome barriers that be holding you back from running your first 100 miler.

Junko Kazukawa
Junko Kazukawa is from Sapporo, Japan. She is a Running Coach for Boundless 10200. Junko has a M.A. in Exercise Physiology. Her accolades include: Colorado Sports Women of Colorado: Inspiration/Ultrarunning, 2015: The first female to complete the Grand Slam of ultra running, 2x Leadwoman 2014, 2015, 3x Silver queen, Multiple marathons and mountain bike races. Runners Roost Mountain Ultra Team.

Krissy Moehl
Krissy Moehl is an ultramarathon runner, coach, author, public speaker and race director. In her 15-year career, she has run more than 100 races. She has 55 female wins and 2 outright wins. Moehl blogs about her running at www.KrissyMoehl.com and hails from the Pacific Northwest. Her book, Running Your First Ultra launched in December 2015.
Pam Smith
Pam Smith
Pam Smith ran her first 5k in 1989 and did her first ultra in 2002. She has 24 finishes of 100+ miles and 91 total ultra finishes. Highlights include wins at Angeles Crest (CR, 2014), Western States (2013), and Mohican (2019) and podium finishes at Spartathlon (2nd) and Badwater (2nd and 3rd). She twice set the American Track Record for 100M and has been a member of the US 24 Hour team twice. She is currently the manager of the US 24 Hour Team set to compete in the 2023 World championships in Taiwan.
Tara Warren
Tara Warren
Tara Warren lives with her hubby and two teenage boys in the mountains of northern Utah. She’s found her passion in adventuring in the Wasatch mountain trails above her city. Tara coaches and trains all different types of runners through: onthemountaincoaching.com. This past year she set a PR at her 15th hundred miler. Some of those include: the Bear, Orcas, Ouray, UTMB, Bighorn, High Lonesome and TDS. The hundred mile is your favorite distance and she is excited to share why.
