As the sport of trail and ultra running grows, so does the pursuit in testing one’s limits against the extreme. More vert, higher elevation, longer races, you name it.  Some folks thrive on these robust challenges, but for others, they count themselves out due to a disbelief of what they are capable of.

The June Speaker Series focuses on breaking down the barriers that may keep women from participating in race events regarded as infamous, rugged, or grueling. Special guests: Courtney Dauwalter, Darcy Piceu, Laurie Nakauchi, and Meghan Hicks will speak about their race experiences, talk about what it really takes, and provide guidance to getting you to the start line of these strenuous races.
