About Me

Cross a passion for endurance running, optimism, gritty determination and inspiring others- that’s what you’ll find in me.

I am a certified Ultra Running Coach through the Ultra Endurance Sports Coaching Academy and am currently working towards a Nutrition and Yoga Certification (plus more). I love using my passion to help others achieve their goals, whether it’s working towards their first ultra, or their twentieth. I offer private coaching through Vuori Running, and also lead a womxns ultrarunning group program, coaching in-person with Ultra Ladies™ based in Los Angeles.

A former high school track and cross country athlete, and endurance runner for over 25 years, I decided to run my first ultra at age 41. I ran the iconic Bulldog 50k (unofficial “fatass” style during quarantine), and three months later ran my first 50 miler. I have since had the opportunity to complete many adventure runs in places like the Oregon Coast, Central Oregon, the Santa Monica Mountains, the Agua Tibia Wilderness, San Mateo Canyon Wilderness, Los Padres National Forest, and the Grand Canyon. You won’t find many races on my resume, mostly because I’m intrinsically driven by the beauty and experience of running far to see beautiful places one can only reach by foot. Also, I jumped into ultra distances at the beginning of quarantine, when races and gatherings were not happening. #realtalk, I didn’t let that stop me.

It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it.

My Coaching Style / Methodology

Every runner is unique and helping them is a rewarding experience. My coaching methods are rooted in scientific research that utilizes evidence-based findings, providing the most up-to-date knowledge available. I embrace continually educating myself. This is a huge benefit for my clients, who can trust they are getting the most current and accurate information available in the sport.

Aside from being a coach and ultra runner, I also wear the hats of being a business owner, trail race director, mother and spouse. I know what it’s like to juggle a busy schedule while finding time to train. I can help you maximize the quality of your time spent running, so you can enjoy all the other things life has to offer. And as your potential coach, I promise to bring that same optimistic-yet-tough gritty determination every time we work together. You deserve it!
